Position under supervision of Minister
 
Annual paid vacation (pro-rated)                                                      2 weeks
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
1.  Work with Minister, Volunteer Youth Advisors, CE Comm., and parents to enhance and promote
     existing programs and develop new youth and C. E. programs compatible with the Hopewell
     Presbyterian Church.
 
2.  Be responsive to requests from the Minister, Church Session and C. E. Comm., in a timely manner.   
 
3.  Plan and lead weekly faith-based youth activities ensuring the safety and well-being of all   
     participants.  Develop a means of growing our number of youth in participation of church-sponsored
     youth activities.
 
4.  Youth & C. E. Director is accountable for all fund-raising receipts and expense disbursements
     for church-sponsored youth activities.
 
5.  Support and enhance existing areas of Christian education and develop new opportunities of
     Christian education.
 
6.  Youth & C. E. Director is responsible to see that all planned activities are accomplished in their
     absence.

Volunteer Opportunity – Mentors needed for Bellewood Programs

Bellewood Presbyterian Homes for Children is seeking responsible, caring individuals who are interested in making a difference in the life of a young person. Project THRIVE is a mentoring program for young people age 16-26 with mental and emotional disabilities and Operation HERO is a mentoring program for young people 15-21 participating in an Independent Living program for youth in out-of-home care.
